About 'Japji Sahib' Ji:
Japji Sahib Path, which appears at the beginning of the Sikh Holy Book, is the most recited path in Gurbani/Nitnem. Sikhs worldwide recite it every morning. Composed by Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Sikh guru, it is a sacred hymn offering devotion to God. Written in sutra or mantra form, it consists of the Mool Mantra as the beginning, followed by 38 hymns and a final Salok. It elaborates on all the fundamental teachings of Guru Nanak, including the concepts of devotional worship and creation.
